a sense of discomfort while the Kool-Aid dissolves into the blood so quickly,

without any effort other than spelling.

whispers of these predatory & exploitive dispositions,

wrecking balls who violate walls; “don’t speak, only listen.”

there’s no consulting when you’re already sold

to the underground demons justly absorbing souls.

my fledgling heart was trapped in their inventory,

as they cut through my name & kept my confessions for their glory.

darkened eyes from staring at artificial light,
